Market Players: discover companies and their project portfolios
Find power generation companies, identify their corporate groups and explore their projects, ownership information and performance indicators.
What is the solution for?
Market Players helps you discover companies associated with power generation developments and understand their project portfolios.
Use the search to identify potential customers or partners, monitor competitors and shortlist companies for closer investigation.
While Power Plants and Projects starts with the development itself, this solution organizes your research around companies and their corporate groups.
Find a company or explore a market
Use the search field to search by registered company name, CNPJ or corporate group name.
Searching by corporate group helps you find companies related to that group. The CNPJ directs your search to a specific legal entity, avoiding confusion between similarly named companies.
To explore a segment, use the Own Projects Energy Source filter. It selects companies associated with projects using the chosen energy source, allowing you to focus on solar, wind or other available sources.
Compare portfolios by stage
The table shows CNPJ, registered company name, corporate group and capacity information associated with projects at three stages:
Operation: understand the size of the operating portfolio.
Construction: identify companies with developments being built.
Development: explore the portfolio of projects under development.
The initial view prioritizes companies with the highest operating capacity. Compare stages separately: projects under development do not represent capacity already available for operation.
Use Columns to choose the information displayed and export results to continue comparing in a spreadsheet.
Open the selected player's analysis
When you open a company's details from the results list, you will find a screen organized into four areas: General, Shareholders, Projects and Performance.
General: get to know the company
Review available information such as registered company name, trading name, CNPJ, economic activity, address and corporate group, as well as phone and email details when provided.
This information helps confirm the company's identity and understand its business context before an assessment or commercial approach.
Shareholders: review the ownership structure
The Shareholders section displays the names and roles or qualifications available in the records. It also offers a LinkedIn search feature to complement your investigation.
Use this information to understand the ownership structure. Being a shareholder does not necessarily mean being responsible for purchasing equipment or services.
Projects: explore the company's portfolio
Review developments associated with the company, including name, energy source, status and authorized capacity.
Refine the list using Energy Source, Fuel, Grouped Status and Status filters. This helps you separate projects by energy source or development stage, for example.
Open a development's details from the list to investigate further. You can also use map visualization to explore its location.
Performance: track the available indicators
The Performance section displays a chart of project capacity factors using CCEE data, considering developments associated with the company as operator.
This indicator helps you observe generation behavior over the available periods. When comparing projects, consider their energy sources, characteristics and data coverage: the chart alone does not represent company profitability.
Example: prepare a commercial approach
Imagine your company supplies equipment or services to wind developments.
Select wind in Own Projects Energy Source and compare the portfolios of the companies found. Choose a player and open its analysis.
Review the information in General, consult Shareholders and explore Projects to identify developments matching your target market. Then investigate project details before preparing your outreach.
This sequence turns broad research into a selection of companies and developments aligned with your objective.
From research to your next decision
Information availability varies by company and development. Check data references and confirm each participant's role before moving forward.
