CCEE Agents: explore participants and track their energy market activity
Search agents, explore their profiles and loads, and analyze purchase, sale, consumption and accounting data to support your commercial assessments.
Explore the solution
The ePowerBay CCEE Agents solution brings together registration information and activity data for participants in Brazil's Electricity Trading Chamber (CCEE).
The tool lets you identify agents, explore their associated companies and corporate groups, and analyze their profiles and monthly activity. Use this information to research potential customers, partners and other market participants.
Find agents of interest
Under Search Type, choose how to search:
Agent Acronym contains: search for the acronym or part of the name used by the agent.
Corporate Group contains: find agents associated with a group.
Corporate Group text search: use text search to locate the desired group.
You can also enable Search by multiple terms and combine the query with Profile Classes and Submarket filters. After selecting the submarket, use the State subfilter to narrow down the companies' registered locations.
Click Search to display results. For a broader query, leave the text field blank and apply your preferred filters.
Compare results and export data
The table displays the agent's code and acronym, legal company name, Brazilian corporate tax ID (CNPJ), corporate group and active profile classes. It also provides available average purchase, sale and consumption indicators associated with the legal entity.
The Total Average Purchase and Total Average Sale summaries help you review the values brought together by the query.
Use Columns to select displayed information, click headers to sort records and adjust the number of results per page.
Under Exports, Search Results lets you take query data into your analyses. Export page exports the records on the displayed page.
Open an agent and explore the company
Click the agent's acronym to open its analysis page.
In Information, review the code, status, category, number and classes of active profiles, along with available purchase, sale and consumption indicators.
The Legal Entity area adds the registered company name, CNPJ, main activity, registration status, share capital and corporate group, where information is available.
Under Location, check the registered address and contact details. Under Partners, review the names and roles listed for the company.
Understand profiles and loads
Under Profiles, explore the records associated with the agent. The table displays code, acronym, status, energy type, class, retail agent indicator, submarket and purchase, sale and consumption indicators.
This helps you understand how the agent's activity is organized and distinguish its profiles before comparing data.
Under Loads, review the units linked to the profiles, including company identification, location and available consumption indicators. Use minimum and maximum year and month filters to define the analysis period.
Track trends in the charts
Charts provides four perspectives:
Consumption: monthly electricity consumed, in MWh.
Purchase: monthly purchased volumes, in average MW.
Sale: monthly sold volumes, in average MW.
Accounting: monthly accounting results, in Brazilian reais.
Select the Profile Acronym and years to focus the visualization. Compare periods to identify volume changes, seasonality and movements that warrant further investigation.
Pay attention to units: average MW represents average power over a period, whereas MWh represents an amount of energy. The accounting result does not represent the company's profit.
Explore Monthly Market data
Under Monthly Market, click Search to view monthly purchase, sale, consumption and accounting data.
The table identifies agent, profile, year and month and lets you examine available values. It also includes accounting components such as Energy Reallocation Mechanism (MRE) compensation, charges and other adjustments.
Select columns to focus on relevant indicators and use the table's export options to continue working in your own analyses and reports.
From search to commercial analysis
To explore a corporate group's activity, search for its name and open the agents of interest. Check their profiles, examine loads and compare purchase, sale and consumption trends.
This sequence helps build a fuller picture of the participant and prepare a commercial approach based on available data. Always consider the reference period: missing information must not be treated as a value of zero.
