What is the solution for?

The BESS Project Hub brings together opportunities involving battery energy storage systems. It connects project developers with companies interested in investing, acquiring developments or participating in their development.

You can search for opportunities, review technical information and introduce your own projects to the market. Data sharing follows different access levels, protecting sensitive information as the parties establish contact.

Find projects aligned with your interests

In Search Projects, combine filters to find opportunities matching your strategy:

  • State (UF): select the Brazilian state of interest.

  • Owner's Objective: find projects seeking a sale, a financial investor, or strategic, technical and commercial partners.

  • Eligible Power: adjust the desired power range.

  • Connection Point and Voltage: when available for your access level, narrow the search by the project's associated electrical infrastructure.

The table lets you compare municipality, state, power in MW, stored energy in MWh and duration in hours. Additional information, such as connection point, line length and development stage, depends on your access level.

Use the map to explore the geographic distribution of opportunities. Search results show approximate locations to protect the exact identification of developments.

When a project interests you, click View Details to explore its information.

Explore the project details

The analysis screen organizes information into different areas, helping you assess the opportunity before starting a conversation.

Project Data

Review characteristics such as municipality, state, development stage, eligible power, storage capacity, duration, manufacturer and the auction indicated.

When available for your access level, also check the connection point and associated line length. Use this information to compare opportunities and identify those worth a closer assessment.

Approximate Location and Exact Location

Approximate Location shows the project's region without revealing precise coordinates. It helps you understand the opportunity's territorial context.

Exact Location has specific release conditions, such as being identified as the owner or having a contact request approved. Sensitive information is therefore shared as engagement between the parties progresses.

Legal Entity

The Legal Entity area provides information about the company associated with the development when access and authorization conditions are met.

These details help you understand the organization responsible for the project and complement your opportunity assessment.

Requesting contact

To move forward, use Request Contact and provide your details and a message explaining your interest.

Describe what you are seeking: acquisition, investment, a technical partnership or another form of participation. A clear request makes it easier for the responsible party to assess your interest and start a conversation.

Complementary studies

The details page also offers requests for Connection Studies and Competition Analysis services.

These analyses can support a deeper assessment of electrical infrastructure and nearby projects. The request lets you discuss an appropriate scope with ePowerBay.

Register your development

In Register Projects, select one or more EPE/AEGE Data Sheets in PDF format. The platform uses these documents to populate information and simplify registration.

Review the extracted information before submitting it. Pay particular attention to:

  • Development: name, company, CNPJ, municipality, state and coordinates.

  • Capacity: eligible power and available power.

  • Equipment: manufacturer, model, stored energy and duration.

  • Connection: associated substation and line length.

The map helps you check the reported location.

Next, specify the registration objective. You can choose more than one intention, such as selling the project, seeking a financial investor or finding strategic, technical and commercial partners.

Read the displayed notice and terms, confirm your agreement and click Register All. Submissions undergo review before the development becomes available in search results.

A practical example

A company interested in investing in storage can select a state, adjust the power range and filter projects seeking a financial investor.

After comparing opportunities in the table and on the map, it can open their details, assess technical characteristics and request contact with the people responsible for projects best aligned with its strategy.

A developer can register a development and indicate the desired types of partnership, making it easier to present the project to potential interested parties.

From research to the next conversation

The Hub organizes information to help identify opportunities and connect companies. Before making commitments, deepen the technical, commercial and documentary assessment of the development with the responsible parties.
